David is accompanied on this album by such well-known musicians as John David, Doug Livingston and Candy Girard. David Shook's earlier experiences include singing on the country music show Rocky Mountain Jamboree in Denver at age 19. Over the years David has appeared with many vocalists, including the late Jimmie Davis, the former governor of Louisiana and Mark Lowry who is now with the Bill Gaither vocal Band. Homecoming Country is about coming Coming home to traditional American values love of God, family, and country. In this CD album, David had a part in writing all of the songs.
