Perfect Mess on CD

The self-titled debut from the Cookeville, TN based quartet is a collection of sultry jazz, blues, classic funk, right down to the edge of hardcore. It has been often regarded as a 'Breath of fresh air' by many of there fans. The writing process for the album was all from personal 'Real Life' experiences. 'We just wanted to relay our own personal life to anyone who has gone through the same trials that we have. Everyone has there own demons and we all can relate.' It all starts with the guitar driven track FALL AWAY. The songs chunky guitar riffs and the very percussive back beat provide that 'IN YOUR FACE' grit. While TOUGH LOVE is a hardcore bass assault to anyone who has had a rocky relationship with anyone in their life. A Perfect Mess (not only how the band got it's name) is a soulful track about a hard battle with substance abuse. I QUIT is that at which it's name entails, A scream to the world that I've had enough and I'm not going to be backed into a corner! WICKED is a thunderous anthem for all those who have felt judged or mistreated. THICKHEAD is pure raw aggression with double bass and screaming guitars through out. Track 7 BUDDY GAW is a haunting tribute to drummer Landon Gaw's father who passed due to illness. It is a small glimpse into the life of a father and son who were so closely bind. B.M.D. is an all out musical assault on all those who try to hold us back or (Bring Me Down) with all the things in life that we are tempted with.
