{"product_id":"1945-53-3307510509625","title":"1945-53","description":"For the first year or two of it's existence, the Cincinnati-based King Records issued only country music. It was label owner Syd Nathan's friendship with the black swing band leader Lucky Millinder that persuaded him to begin a new subsidiary, Queen Records, to capitalize on the lucrative jazz and jump blues market. Millinder was then under contract to Decca Records, and so, in all but name, his band supplied Nathan with a large proportion of the jump and jazz output during the first year, launching the solo careers of band alumni such as Bull Moose Jackson, Panama Francis and Sam \"The Man\" Taylor onto the market. This CD offers the complete King\/Queen\/Federal recordings of Allen, except for the handful of sides she recorded with Millinder's orchestra.","brand":"Classics R\u0026B","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46199444504659,"sku":"1739113X","price":19.87,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0732\/1937\/5187\/files\/650026_4a8423da-532a-4e93-b119-4e50c358c6fa.jpg?v=1788955910","url":"https:\/\/www.deepdiscount.com\/products\/1945-53-3307510509625","provider":"Deep Discount","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
