Belief in a Tragic But Happy Horse on CD

Robby Zar is a Chicago songwriter, musician, and generally speaking, a pretty good guy (if you don't count that thing that happened last spring). He has played at several locations around Chicago in various incarnations since 1998, including: Big Horse, Elbo Room, Mars Gallery, Navy Pier, Empty Bottle, Underground Lounge, Poitin Stil, Buddy Gallery, Cosmicafe, Uncommon Ground, Frankie J's on Broadway, and more. He has even played in Pittsburgh once, with a laptop, at an art gallery. His musical style has been linked with several people including Nick Drake, Elliot Smith, Jeff Buckley, and Iron and Wine. But comparisons make him queasy and uneasy, and he'd rather you just listened to some samples and find out for yourself. Oh, and he has a red guitar.
