Legacy of Praise on CD

The Scott Day Band is a 5 piece band from the Frederick, MD area. The mission of the band is to see lives touched as they lift up a sound of praise. Their goal is for the listener to personally encounter the living God in worship. The 2003 release, 'You Were There' by Scott Day and Friends actually marked the beginning of what is now The Scott Day Band (SDB). 'Legacy Of Praise' clearly shows the growth both musically and spiritually of the band and seeks to recreate the experience of the band's live concerts. The title track, 'Legacy Of Praise' is a driving celebration which calls us all to remember the legacy we will one day leave behind. 'Down A Narrow Road' is a fun pop rock song calling us to remember how we're not alone as we walk down the narrow road of life. 'Song For The Bride' is a hauntingly beautiful prophetic call from God to His church for intimacy. The piano on this track is worth the price of the CD by itself. 'Facedown' is SDB's version of the Matt Redman worship song, done in a softer fashion then Redman's original, that will lead the listener into a peaceful place at the Father's feet. Throughout this CD you'll encounter styles ranging from pop to rock to jazz and even a touch of country. But, as you listen, you'll find that, by the end of the CD, you're in a place with God that maybe you've never been before. At least that's the hope of the band.
