Soul Glow on CD

'Soul Glow' is the debut album from Georgia Copeland and Nadia Latoya AKA soul sister duo Melonyx. The LP follows the modern-day instant Soul classic "Black Elixir" EP, produced by renowned producer and fellow Nottingham-based artist Joe Buhdha, and subsequent remixes from Cian McCann AKA Zero T and Bruk Rogers.

Melonyx recently co headlined with Gaidaa and SIPHO. At The Blues Project, Manchester and have a number of shows lined up, including the Tru Thoughts Takeover at Brick Lane Jazz Festival, Kendal Calling, Peggy's Skylight and supporting Jaz Karis at The Jazz Cafe. They also joined Origin One for his EP launch party for 'Step in Time' at Mimm Studios, Nottingham on 25th March.

Continuing to broaden Melonyx's audience, the title track from the 'Black Elixir' EP was used in the recent series of Bel-Air; a Peacock/Now TV reimagining of the iconic Fresh Prince of Bel-Air series. More recently, Melonyx worked alongside Terri Walker to record "Sugarcane & Lime" for the "Beautiful Pairings" EP; produced by Zed Bias and released on Big Community Records. The collaborating trio performed the track at Notting Hill Carnival on the Rampage Sound Stage. The duo have recently released "Blow" with Zero T and Onj on The North Quarter and were announced as Best Newcomer at the Groundbreaking BlacOut Soul Awards 2022.
