Clear Vision on CD

Vision Company was formed in the early nineties after it's founding members gathered to worship and jam in the home of Deb Allen. Most of the members were also part of Columbus Koinonia, a para-church organization that serves the Body of Christ in central Ohio. Talents were being developed and honed, mentoring was taking place, and before long songs started coming. Eventually, at Deb's urging, the band formed. Vision Company has always been a ministry, not just a band. It's original and continuing vision was to challenge and inspire the body of Christ and the unsaved through original Christian music. You won't hear songs like these anywhere else. The musical styles of the songs are as eclectic as their composers and derive from direct experiences with God and man. The songs challenge, inspire, warn and encourage. It's first album, Clear Vision, reflects those eclectic musical styles and properly sets the foundation for the future of the ministry. From the haunting, Irish-style melody of Shepherd's Staff, to the driving beat of Resurrection Power, to the hope-inspiring words of Sonshine, the album can be played in the background as one works or drives. But just as one is getting comfortable the lyrical messages interrupt: Dying In the Streets warns us of our responsibility to inner-city kids. The Bride reminds us of the need for the Church to prepare for the Bridegroom. And Where Your Treasure Is laments the culture's obsession with mammon. Today many band members have come and gone but the ministry of Vision Company continues, mostly around central Ohio. The band ministers at churches, cafes and concerts. It's style continues to evolve as newer members contribute to the vision. It's newest album is expected in the summer of 2010.
