Both artists were already recognized in the Australian metal scene for their involvement in various other projects before coming together to create a band that would blend elements of black metal, depressive rock, and atmospheric music. Five years after their latest release, Dying Ember, Anguish and Sorrow return with their latest album, We Lost Our Hope Along the Way.
